- Text club signup: your phone number, submitted through our "Get text alerts" form.
- Automatically collected data: limited technical information (such as browser type and general usage data) through standard web server logs.
We display Google reviews on this site; we do not collect personal information through that feature — it's provided by Google.
How we use your information
- To schedule, confirm, and manage your service appointment, including sending appointment confirmations and status texts (e.g., "your vehicle's ready") to the phone number you provide
- To send text-club messages (service reminders and text-only deals) if you opt in separately — see "Text messaging (SMS) consent" below
- To respond to inquiries and provide customer service
- To maintain accurate shop scheduling and service records
Text messaging (SMS) consent — TCPA disclosure
By submitting your phone number through our "Get text alerts" form, you give Comstock Auto and Tire express written consent to send you SMS text messages, including service reminders and text-only deals, using automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Message frequency: varies; typically no more than [X messages per month/week].
- Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages. Reply HELP for help. After opting out, you may still receive individual transactional texts directly related to a service appointment you booked (e.g., appointment confirmations), which are not marketing messages.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Not all mobile devices or carriers may be supported.

Third-party service providers
We use the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — stores and manages online booking data (appointments, customer contact and vehicle info).
- Formspree — processes text club signup submissions.
- Google — powers the embedded map and displays Google reviews.
Data retention
We retain booking and customer contact information for as long as reasonably necessary for shop scheduling, warranty tracking (our repairs carry a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty), and business recordkeeping — generally no longer than [RETENTION PERIOD] after your last visit, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your privacy rights
