Agreement to terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and the auto repair, tire, and maintenance services offered by Comstock Auto and Tire ("Comstock," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 2501 E Springs Dr, Madison, WI 53704. By booking an appointment, using our online booking system, or opting into our text club, you agree to these terms.
Services
Comstock provides auto repair and maintenance services including brake service, engine repair and diagnostics, tire service, transmission service, electrical repair, and routine maintenance. Prices shown on this website ("from" pricing) are starting estimates; your final price depends on your vehicle's specific needs and is confirmed before work beyond your approved estimate is performed.
Booking and appointments
Appointments booked through our online system are checked against real shop bay availability at the time of booking. We'll contact you if a scheduling conflict arises. For repairs that vary too much to quote bay time in advance, we treat your booking as a request and will call to confirm timing within one business day.
Estimates and approval
We will contact you before performing any repair beyond the scope of your original estimate or approved work. No add-on charges are billed without your prior approval.
Warranty
Repairs performed by Comstock are backed by a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty on parts and labor, subject to [WARRANTY TERMS/EXCLUSIONS — e.g., normal wear items, misuse, third-party parts].
Payment

Text messaging
By providing your phone number, you may receive transactional texts related to your appointment (confirmations, status updates) and, if you separately opt in, text club marketing messages. No guarantee of specific outcomes
We diagnose and repair vehicles using industry-standard practices, but we do not guarantee that every issue can be fully resolved by a single repair, particularly with older or high-mileage vehicles, or that a repair will prevent unrelated future issues.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Wisconsin law, Comstock's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of vehicle use, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.
Third-party services
This site uses Supabase to power our online booking system and Formspree to process text club signups. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dane County, Wisconsin.
